  • Flinders University works closely with Defence and defence industry across a wide range of defence related research and training centres.
  • Flinders’ dedicated Centre for Defence Engineering Research and Training is involved in a range of projects including the design of autonomous surface and underwater vehicles, mission planning, state, mine countermeasures and launch and recovery of autonomous vehicles.
  • – Thanks to cross-university connections with other powerful research centres such as the Institute for Nanoscale Science and Technology and the ARC Training Centre for Biofilm Research and Innovation, Flinders University provides comprehensive solutions to industry challenges.

  • Flinders University leads the Factory of the Future in partnership with BAE Systems Australia. It is Australia’s first industrial-scale high value manufacturing research and accelerator facility benefiting from collaborations with research expertise and integration into domestic and international value chains.
